Tiku Digital YouTube channel logo — I haven’t been able to make a text part for my logo for a long time, which looks more like a monogram or even an icon. I can not say that I made many attempts, but nevertheless.
Task. Make a text horizontal logo for Tiku Digital YouTube channel
And after I created a YouTube channel for myself and began to somehow manage it, I had the idea to make a logo for the channel, in which the text part would carry a functional and semantic load. I called the channel itself Tiku Digital, and chose the domain name tiku.tv as the address. This address formed the basis of the text part of the logo.
Social media format
For monthly social media posts, a square version of the layout with the logo was prepared.
A bright mixed background that will change every month is a great contrast to the shades of gray in the main version of the logo.
Of course, one of the tasks that the logotim had to solve was the use of the YouTube channel itself in the design.
This means placement in the header of the channel and in order to make efficient use of the space in the header, the logo was made horizontally elongated, unlike the main Tiku logo, which is more suitable for square layouts.
The logo was also planned to be used for intro and outro videos on the channel.
For this, the chosen proportions of the logo also fit in the best way.
To preserve the feedback of the style and form of the main logo, the main easily recognizable forms and elements were retained.
The dot from the .tv domain has also been kept as a reference detail to the main logo, which can be omitted for smaller placements.
The placement of the elements of the main logo also provides style and form feedback.
